CASE: Magnificent most ornately engraved Illinois 14K yellow gold filled triple hinged hunter case in superb condition (inner dust cover shows some brass) with a new looking glass crystal and a nice blank initial shield.
MOVEMENT: Bright and sparkling clean beautifully damaskeened nickel stem wind lever set, strong running, railroad grade hunter movement with raised gold jewel settings, 21 jewels and a diamond end stone. This fine running movement has just been professionally serviced including cleaning, oiling, and timing.
DIAL: Outstanding early, hard to find, double sunk white porcelain railroad dial with black roman numerals and red 5 minute markers, showing one tiny eyelash hairline. This Waltham Vanguard is a beautiful looking and running antique railroad grade hunter case pocket watch!
