Our philosophy is simple when it comes to servicing watches.  Each timepiece should be in the best mechanical condition that it can be.  Many watch repairs only involve cleaning and oiling.  We service most American antique pocket watches, and can keep them in top running order.

PocketWatcher offers all types of repairs and maintenance for your antique pocket watches.  Our trained horologist is skilled in all facets of repairs,  from simple cleaning and adjusting, to replacing broken or worn parts, jewels, dials, mainsprings, etc.  For the impossible to find parts, the correct part often can be made from original type materials. Only original type parts are used, so as to maintain the authenticity and value of your antique timepiece.

We offer repair and service on many American watches. A large majority of repairs only require a good cleaning. Our rates for cleaning and regular service range from $175.00 and up plus return shipping/insurance.

Cleaning And Lubricating Your Antique Pocket Watch involves the following steps:

1. Disassemble the watch completely




2. Bathe all the moving parts in an ultrasonic bath



3. Dry and oil the moving parts




4. Completely reassemble the watch




5. Adjust and time the watch to original specifications using an electronic vibrograph









If any other problems are noticed with the watch during this procedure, you will be contacted with an estimate of the additional repairs. Please include your phone number and email address with your items.
