The only difference you will find with these chains as opposed to the large spring ring chains are that the spring rings themselves are smaller and will not open wide enough to clip onto a belt loop. These chains are threaded through the belt loop with the chain itself and the spring ring is clipped to the chain, thus securing the watch which can then be put in the pocket.
